My Phone (2014)

(This is the sixth post in a series.)

This is the most recent of the phone portion of this series. The previous version was a Razr Maxx.

This post deals with my personal phone purchased in 2014, the Samsung Galaxy S5.

  • Phone: Samsung Galaxy S5 (best phone I’ve had ever.)
  • Ringtone: It’s the ringtone from the movie “Paranoia”. It’s named is “lensflaretapRingtone”, the one that Liam Hemsworth’s character has. Not the corporate ringtone that Harrison Ford’s company uses.
  • Case: Otter Box Defender for Samsung Galaxy S5.
  • Background: I have two backgrounds. The one on the lock screen is the seal placed on the character Naruto (Japanese book and anime series) referenced as “Four Symbols Seal“. On the home screen usually is a photo from an artist’s website called “FleshandColor“. The artist is very talented and has done some amazing work.
  • My last text: to a friend and co-worker about possibly riding a bike in 55-60-degree weather.
  • The last app I used: Google mobile calendar app.
  • Currently obsessed with: Still love Evernote. Cycling is something I want to spend time doing to get ready for spring races.
  • Last download: Soundtrack to “Interstellar.”
  • Most surprising app on the home screen: None right now, I’ve been keeping my home screen clear lately.
  • Text or call: Text, I don’t like to talk on the phone unless it is brief.
  • Remaining battery: 85%. It’s its a weekend and it’s quiet.
