Meeting Hank Williams Jr. on Tuesdays

I first met Hank a while back at a burger and taco joint on Broadway downtown. The first time I ate at the restaurant, I wasn’t so impressed. It just didn’t seem right, people had said so many good things, but it wasn’t for me.

On another visit, I tried again. This time, it was a winner.

You see at Flip Side, Hank Williams Jr. is a hamburger. The Hank Williams Jr. burger description is:

“Country boy can survive on this” burger patty with american cheese, bacon, fried egg, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles.

I order it without tomato and pickles. I order it almost every Tuesday because I ride that night in the Tuesday night Ride on Bikes ride. I figure I can use the calories that night, plus it is eating a larger meal in the middle of the day instead of at night. You shouldn’t eat a larger meal at night as it will sit on you all night and not get burned off.

Recently I had my spare iPhone 4s (re-purposed as a camera) and decided to take a few shots of outside the restaurant. I tried straight video, but it wasn’t what I thought afterwards. Then I tried two sets of time-lapse on the iPhone and downloaded the trial of Adobe Premiere Pro CC and tossed them together for 10 minutes of Uptown in about 50 seconds.
